Some of you know that Barb and I are tri tip junkies. Looking for a new recipe for tri tip I ran across what I thought was an interesting recipe in Weber’s Big Book of Grilling. The recipe was rosemary tri tip.
Made up the marinade in the morning and let it sit in the fridge for eight hours.
Fired up the performer with Western lump no wood for smoke.
Did a 10 minute sear flipping once, then indirect for twenty minutes until IT of 135. Let it rest 15 minutes while Barb did her thing. Barb made up some red potatoes with onion and bell peppers in EVOO and Weber’s veggie seasoning.
The tri tip was excellent as were the potatoes nice quick easy dinner.
