hey gang!

i had a successful cook last weekend using the heatermeter! i tested on some cheap cuts i've had hidden away in the freezer - they turned out better than they should've! I ran heatermeter in Celsius units since I'm way down here in New Zealand.

I ran with these PID settings on my kamado joe classic:

which i shamelessly stole from here

I'm now exploring the other bits-n-pieces of heatermeter for the next cook and stumbled upon this blurb here:


so... should I be scaling my PID parameters in some way since I'm using different units than the defaults?

my cook didn't go bad, but... if it can go better then I'm all in!
