Splain it to me Ricky - Fuel Filters


 
Well, I have never heard of such a thing, but my guess is that any contaminants in a tank of propane would be too small to affect a grill. I would think the smallest channel in a grill is the orifice and that is pretty big in terms of contaminants.
 
I have seen these filters, but associated with bulk tanks and fixed piping. The primarily are designed for catching pipe/tank scale from reaching appliance burners/nozzles. Since in most cases LP tanks are below the level of the burners and valves on a gas grill, gravity would help keep any such contaminants from reaching them.
