Wanted to say thanks for the info on here first of all. Barely began to scratch the surface i see. I own a genesis gold. Working on a Genesis 3000 LX and was wondering a little about the wide slat version of the Genesis. Should i buy on not??

Welcome to the forum. I would grab that wide slot in a heartbeat if it was near me and I already have eight Weber's. But be careful when buying Weber's it's an addiction and there is no known cure.
