First Cook On Our New To Us Platinum

We’ve been looking for a grill to dedicate to the Kettle Pizza. After many months we finally found a 2010 Weber platinum kettle in like new condition, exactly what I was looking for. Like the two shelfs and the ash catcher.
Been waiting for the rain to let up so we could take it for a test run. Finally last evening there was a hole in the clouds and we went for it.
Had a rib eye defrosted and grabbed a couple of ears of corn and two red potatoes, about ¾ of a large chimney of KBB and we were good to go. SPOG on the steak. EVOO on the taters with S&P. Barb did up the corn with a mixture of EVOO, butter and Weber’s herb and garlic seasoning.
First time in three months I’ve been able to use charcoal to grill with, I’m a happy guy.

The steak on the top is the pups a $2.00 dog food special.

Have a great weekend

That Platinum is going to work great for pizza's. Nice to have two tables attached to it. Thanks for reminding me that it's been too long since I had a rib eye.

Dinner looks delish! Perfectly cooked ribeye... corn and tater just the way we like em.

Congrats on the new rig (looks brand new) and to many future pizzas.
