    Genesis 1000 Ngas to LP??

has anyone ever converted a GEN 1000 Natgas to LP? I've heard I only need to swap out the 3 valve orifices to the LP nuts and then just add a LP regulator hose? is it that easy?
or if easier, i have an extra LP manifold I can swap in. If someone has done this, where did you buy your orifices from? I've heard of: http://www.grill-repair.com/weberparts.html / is this co. reputable? thx!!!!!!!!!!!!

Swap the whole manifold. You cannot get the proper performance due to the differences of the valves themselves.

Swap the manifold. By far the easiest/best solution.
Grills and guns are a lot alike. While one would usually suffice and you can only use one a time, each grill/gun is better in certain situations.

    Yup, swap the manifold.
(with blue lid, a.k.a. Baby Blue) (22.5 in. Kettle premium) (Genesis II E-310) (Genesis Platinum C with Genesis 5000 lid)

It takes six or more on this forum for it to be a done deal.

    Are manifolds readily available?

Slightly off topic - is the propane manifold available for the Genesis Jr?

yes, new from weber for about $100 for the GEN 1000...i ended up swapping an LP manifold I had from a past 1000 I saved for parts! re: Gen Jr. not sure...thats a mid 80's grill.. so older and I know parts are scarce for them.
