I cleaned out old leaky. It burned 10 hours @ 250* with Devil Lump.
Heres the ashes. Outstanding performance, half the charcoal was still there.

So loaded up the Hasty Bake and threw on some bird.
Seasoned up with Cabellas Beer Can Chicken seasoning

Fire update: 80% contained so we are good for this go round.

Love the plated pic lots of yummy food for sure. Glad to hear the good news on the fire.
 
Nice Cook Russ. Super happy to hear you guys are okay.
We had a second flare up about a mile from us a couple of days ago but the Forestry Service was on it like ugly on an ape, all over it. Burned about 5-6 acres and they had it out.
But I think this just the tip of the fire season.
 
Great cook, Russ! I'll have to be on the look out for some Devil Lump. Assuming it's Jealous Devil, correct? Heard good things about it so far.
