The New Bronze might be a pretty good match. It is kind of hard to tell without seeing it in hand. I am still going with the black this time. Maybe I will order it up before I start another E3xx.
Grills and guns are a lot alike. While one would usually suffice and you can only use one a time, each grill/gun is better in certain situations.

If you do the entire fire box and the lid sides in the dark color who cares if it doesn't exactly match. IMO a dark slate or even black looks better anyway as the light color gets smoke and grease stained and looks like crap in just a couple cooks anyway

Yes, bottom line is you're probably right on there

I am going to be spraying the end caps on another E3xx next week. I ordered some Stove Bright Charcoal. It is darker than the stock Weber dk gray, but not as dark as the Rustoleum high heat black. I will post some photos when I get it done.

The new bronze color didn't look dark enough. I figure it is better to go darker than lighter than the original.

Bruce, did you ever complete this with the charcoal paint? Any pics you can share?

Nope, I ordered the paint, but it took too long. I sprayed them with Rustoleum Ultra Hight Heat. I still have a can of the Charcoal. I might just use it a different grill as I don't have any E3xx grills in the pipeline.
