    Just read about this (I use chrome but am not affected as I don't use one of these versions):

    To clarify (several websites list this issue): spammers have taken legit blockers and added their own code to suit their purposes then added them back to playstore (how that's done I don't know) and google did not catch the altered apps. They look like the legit item but are not. Google has pulled them from playstore now BUT some folks may have downloaded the bad apps between their upload and google deleting them. They should uninstall the listed apps from their browser then get the new (unaltered) apps again.
