These chuck eyes looked like Prime grade and were good, but as I feared, not all of the marbling was fat, they had a good amount of gristle too.

Soaked a $2/lb point from Aldi, dried well then in the fridge for a spell.
Rubbed with Weber salt free steak seasoning. Cherry and pecan for smoke.

A note about the cabbage.
I smoked it with cherry wood for an hour, then in foil with some apple juice.
The outer leaves had a creosote taste, but after removing them, the rest was very good.

Don't know where to start. It ALL looks fabulous Bob. Chuck Eyes and Chicken look delicious, especially the chicken. That skin just looks crispy. The corned beef and your butter cabbage stole the show however. Looks mouthwatering and will definitely give your cabbage technique a try. Nice use of all your arsenal too.
 
You've been a busy guy Bob. Some great cooks, really like the looks of that chicken. Butter cabbage on the grill that's a new one to me, going to give that a try
 
WOW!!! Bob you nailed that one way out of the ball park. The corn beef was fantastic and the chicken yummy. But your cabbage is something else, going to have to try that one. Again Bob you plated plate tells the story over the top.

Wow, I've not experience that with chuck eyes, they're my go to these days. I love all the cooks in this thread, especially how you cooked the cabbage. I'm going to give that a go. We had our traditional St. Patrick Day meal, corn beef in the crock pot, but I also have another corn beef to do on the smoker and I didn't (until I saw this thread) know what to do with the cabbage.
