Hello!

I use the version LEDE Reboot SNAPSHOT r4558-438dcbfe74. SInce this update the web access on the LAN by the IP-address worksfine. I have a NAT to the WAN interface. If I wanna connect from the oit side by Firefox, Chrome or IE the Heatermeter trys to switch to SSL without having certificates. How to switch of that? If I use PitDroid teh connection works fine.

Some ideas?

The behavior should be the same both coming from inside and outside your LAN, at least as far as the HeaterMeter is concerned. There's an option to force HTTPS though, but it should be disabled by default. Check in the webui under Services -> uHTTPd and look for the option "Redirect all HTTP to HTTPS" which should not be checked. If it isn't checked and you're still getting the bounce to HTTPS, is it possible your router is doing something? You might try changing the port number you're forwarding on the firewall side if you're using standard port 80.

Hm... I think it is a browser problem. I run the apache on 80,443 and the heatermeter on 8100. The PitDroid and the iOS Heatermeter app works fine with http on 8100. Only the web browers try to switch to SSL....

Yes exactly. I get pusehd to https.

@Bryan: in the webui under services is only the SMTP config

I am running the latest snapshot release and it shows SMTP and uHTTPd tabs under services. I am not 100% certain if the release version has uHTTPd or not cause I pretty much always run the latest snap shot.

FYI, Bryan recently added the convenient .gz download link to http://heatermeter.com/dl , just select the release version you want and rPi version you are running and right click the .gz and copy the link address, then go to HM Config/System/Backup / Flash Firmware and paste that url into "Image URL (.gz):" then click "Download and Flash Image". After the image downloads (that might take a little while to complete) it will ask you to confirm the update. After you confirm all you should have to do is wait, mine always comes back with my wifi and other settings intact.

PS Thanks for adding the .gz dl link Bryan, that makes updating easier.... It would be even better if the HM Config had an Update tab with a link that would load heatermeter.com/dl and you could just select your options and click update. The above method the is most simple and straight forward method for updating the HM so far, but there are still a quite a few steps to make it happen.
