Larry and Tony go to the lumber yard to get some lumber.
Larry goes into the office and said, "We need some four-by-twos."

"You mean two-by-fours, don't you?" the clerk said.
"Let me go check," replied Larry, and he went back to the truck and asked Tony.

"Yeah, I meant two-by-fours," he said, returning a few moments later.
"Alright. How long do you need them?"
Larry paused for a minute to think and then finally said, "I'd better go check with Tony."

After awhile he returned to the office and said, "Tony said we need them for a long time. We're building a house."

That's pretty funny. Sounds like the guys that built our house when we moved here. They made the dining room two feet shorter than the plans called for. We caught it in time during the framing stage actually Barb caught it and they cut the front of the house off and filled in the two feet and cantilevered the front of the house back to the foundation.
