problem rotodumper and setting

hi i have a heatermeter 4.2 whith rotodumper but my rotodumper is very slow whith the firmware V14
I USE THE DEFAULT VALUE FOR PID AND THE TEMPERATURE IS NOT STABLE
is possible rotodumper is broken? i have a kettle weber whit staker
I USE A CAT 5 E 2 METERS IS POSSIBLE TO USE CAT 6?

 
What do you mean by "slow"? The amount of opening while running should match what the heatermeter is indicating. You may just need to adjust your PID settings a bit. Not sure the best settings for a Kettle, so maybe someone else here on the forum can chime in. And yes, the damper you have is a knock-off of the RotoDamper, but a good one.
 
Have you tried loosening the screw on the top a little? If it is too tight, it will cause binding. Let me know if this helps, if not, I'll send you a replacement Servo.
 
For one thing. You have it only opening all the way when the blower is at 100%. If your blower is only at 5% then the rotodumper(new name for rotordamper knock-off, lol) will be only at 5% open also and it may seem slow. Put the blower open at 1% and see if its much faster.
