    Excellent news! Glad things went well, the next one will be easier, the one following that will be done without any concern at all. Then it starts all over with your first brisket! I was lucky enough to have some of the good guys here holding my ”virtual hand” from Scotland and Arizona and Texas through my first one. The last one I did went amazingly smoothly even through -5 degree air temp. First one was emails back and forth about every two hours! Good help can be found around here!

    Glad to hear it went well. One thing I've learned is if you play to much temperature tag with your WSM it will drive you nuts. As long as you're somewhere in the neighborhood say + - 20 degrees of your desired temp it should be fine in most cases.
