So after banging my head against the wall wondering why I keep losing connection to the stoker, I think I finally figured out the simple problem.
First I upgraded the stoker firmware to version to 2.6.0.221 (mine came shipped with version 2.6.0.200)
Still had lost connection problem.
Next I upgraded stokerlog to Version 5 Final Release.
Still had lost connection problem.
While examining the graph I noticed that it seemed that approx every 20 minutes I would lose connectivity.
I looked at the power save options on my laptop and sure enough the system was set to hibernate and sleep after 20 minutes.
I disabled the sleep and hibernate option.
I restarted the stoker log and have been monitoring the ambient temp of the basement for the past 11 hrs without losing connectivity.
I only share this in hopes that someone else experiencing lost connections may benefit.
Thanks for all the support from ATCS users.
