There's just something not right about an upside down tree.
Read an article on the subject the other day...one of the opinions was it's anti-Christmas. But since a Christmas tree has nothing to do with "the reason for the season" it ends up reading like blah, blah, blah.

Hanging a Christmas tree upside down was tradition in Europe many years ago...

Yup, I hung ours upside down for years. Saves floor space and ornaments hang better. Kids loved it.

Anither thing we did was get bad trees cheap. We would trim back the bad part and put it against the wall. Then we only had to decorate half a tree. They still looked great.
