I built a heatermeter over a year ago. I've used it ~ 6 times without any trouble. Now the screen doesn't display anything. I'm able to get into the OpenWrt configuration page and get the following message:

No Communication
HeaterMeter serial communication can not be established. Configuration requires bidirectional serial operation. Possible causes of failure:
No HeaterMeter board attached
No HeaterMeter (AVR) firmware installed. See AVR Firmware
Incorrect baud rate in /etc/config/lucid
Hardware malfunction

I flashed with the latest firmware successfully:

Update successful
Starting LinkMeter OK

This was my first time soldering. As I mentioned, everything was working fine for a year. Any idea what may be wrong?

I fixed it! Cleaned up the board with a toothbrush and some isopropyl alcohol and hit it with some canned air and I'm good to go.

Good on ya! Nothing like some alcohol to solve the problem! (just don't douse it with Pabst Blue Ribbon)!
