Rib Eye steaks with Shredded Sprouts

We hadn't had steak in quite some time so when we saw these guys at Costco I threw them in the cart. Sided them up with thinly sliced Brussels Sprouts with caramelized shallots. Threw in some walnuts and red pepper flakes for good measure too. Lastly a couple of bakers to round the meal out.

This wasn't the set up I'd planned to use for these steaks but "plans" don't always work out. It was wonderful meat and gave ust two great meals, this one and the following night my wife used what was left over for steak sandwiches. The Costco Prime is expensive but when you figure we got two dinners out of these steaks, it's not too bad. Sprouts were really tasty. Thanks for looking everyone!
 
Cliff, that plate looks perfect and exactly like one Barb and I had last week so I know it had to be great. We always try to make enough for two meals also ether dinner or a lunch.
BS are one of our favorite veggies and Barb has a gazillion recipes for them.
 
Cliff, love you steak and potatoes but the BS WOW!!! Going to have to try them real soon.
