I have a new Genesis II LX e640 that I need to convert to propane. Is this possible- or should I sell the grill and buy another?

According to Weber no. Though depending on the type of valves (which I believe on that model are continuously variable) and are suitable for a simple orifice change. Bear in mind though because the grills are made in China by WeBeCheep getting orifices may be difficult. Here are some resources though that may be helpful http://www.eastwaysales.com/products.php?c=Orifices https://www.instawares.com/Category/Parts-and-Accessories/Orifices https://www.instawares.com/Category/Parts-and-Accessories/Orifices http://www.grill-repair.com/weber315orifice.html http://andersonforrester.com/conversion-chart/
Perhaps one of these sites can be helpful
