New 4.3.3 build - thermocouple issue

I completed a new build of v4.3.3. When I power the unit on, the pit probe sitting on my counter starts at 240 degrees and then drops a degree every few seconds and in about 10 minutes it drops to below 40 degrees. The pit probe eventually shuts off on it's own. Does anyone have an idea of what I need to look at first? I soldered the thermocouple parts myself and cleaned the boards real well. The other probes seem to be fine.

I'd check the output with a multimeter and see if the voltage you're seeing jives with what HeaterMeter is reading. It should be 5mV/C and that will tell you if your ADC input is floating (there's a fault in the connection from the amp to the microcontroller) or if it is at the amp itself.

So, I feel really stupid. I built this unit with a switch so I could use it with the aux board. I had the switch in the wrong position. duh. I was checking some things with my multi-meter this morning and did continuity on the switch and it was going the wrong way.
