Steaks, Spuds, Shrooms & Sprouts

I was looking for an excuse to roll out the 26er so I decided to cook the whole meal on it. I found some T-Bones on sale for $4.99/#. Don't get mad at me but I took the cuts off the bone before cooking them, my wife and daughter like theirs cooked a little more than I do. I bought a 3 pack of T-Bones so I still have a whole one and a strip in the freezer.

Fired up the beast with a base of KBB and topped it with Cowboy lump.


Rendered down some bacon for the sprouts.


I par boiled the potatoes before I threw them on.


The mushrooms got a heavy dose of chopped garlic and some white wine.


Finally added the steaks.


My plate, my wife and daughter got the filet's.


I had some fun with the 26er and a great meal too. Thanks for looking.:cool:

Super nice cook Pat. I'm lucky Barb and I both like med/rare on the rare side. The sides are show stealers:)
 
Agree with all. Looks wonderful. Those spuds though, as much as I like steak, I'm leaning more into the veggie side. And those look superb :D
