Willkommen Stan! Where's Rothenbergen? I'm familiar with Rothenberg ob der Tauber, but not Rothenbergen.

I remember the Aviation units being in and around Ansbach/Katterbach.

Thank you, Tim!!! This week I'm working on making room for a pair of pigs in my freezer that will get butchered sometime around Thanksgiving. There's parts of a deer, two wild boars, St. Louis-style ribs and some grass fed beef in there while trying to keep up with the fruits and vegetables we've been harvesting out of our gardens.

I was with the 3rd ACR in the 60's with their Aviation Troop assigned to Hoppstadten (west of Baumholder). Loved it.
