So this just popped on CL but WAY too far from me. No way I want to drive to south Chicago burbs from where I live https://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/for/d/weber-genesis-natural-gas/6276491516.html but a hard to find gem

Identical to the one I am restoring, great grills! I used it for 15 years, now restoring it for my son.

What does it have a Propane tank scale on it when it's a Natural Gas model??

Agreed though- that 2000-2001 Gold C series (as well as the B),are a very unique model.

Jeff might be converted, my redhead has a nat gas serial number but when I called Weber it had been registered as propane.

That one might have been converted the other way from propane to nat gas, my grill even though it was propane had no scale so probably started out as nat.

You're correct! I did not notice that. Mostly because I knew it was out of reach for me. Like 100+ miles each way and through Chicagoland traffic. Not something I do willingly.
