Which one Genesis 1000 or Silver B

hi, I am a newbie and have learned a lot from reading all the posts in this forum regarding old Weber rebuild. I think I'm ready to take the plunge.

I have been checking local Craigslist for a while and pinpointed to either a Silver B or the Genesis 1000. I have noticed that the silver B is more readily available than the genesis 1000.
Both are nice grills but the 1000 has the deeper cookbox. If you have to choose and keep one only, which one to restore and why?? Also, what are some of advantages or disadvantages of deeper cookbox? will it take longer to heat up?

I remember reading somewhere that with the extra layer FB, less chance of flare up?? Anyway, your thoughts.

Both are very nice. I prefer the 2 row type because even if using a rotisserie you have a row of bars over the burner(s). Though oddly enough I actually had custom bars made for (well actually my dad had them made) for our 2 row grills
