Bacon Wrapped Chicken

I saw someone cook this a while back and I had to give it a try.

I cut a chicken breast into strips, sprinkled with some cajun seasoning, added some tarragon from the garden, and wrapped in bacon.


On the Performer with some cauliflower.


Flipped.


Plated with some sauteed mushrooms and leftover cabbage.


The chicken was good, glad I tried it. Thanks for looking.:cool:
 
Great looking plate. That chicken must have been really tasty - did the tarragon flavour come through well after the cook ?

I really couldn't tell Mark. We have some in our garden and I wanted to use it so I gave it a go. Now if you ask me about the sage I put in the mushrooms I would tell you that it makes a huge difference.
 
Pat that is outstanding I love the bacon wrapped chicken and you sides perfect. Fantastic job for sure.
 
I bet that's harder to do than it looks. Getting the chicken done, but not burning the bacon...Nicely done Pat, nicely done
 
Nice! Am not a fan of skinless & boneless chicken, however I'll bet the bacon made up for the lack of skin. Looks real good. Bet the chicken went well with those sides.
