Hardly any smoke ring, that's not a good sign...

How long were they in, what temp?
When I put them on, the pit was maybe 250 and an hour later when I pulled them off, the pit was 300 or more. I normally cook them for 1.25 hours, but I kept this cook at one hours, because I knew I would be reheating several, as there was only a couple of us watching the game, and we're all watching our weight. If I knew there would be no leftovers, I would have cooked them the additional 15 minutes and probably would have gotten a nicer smoke ring
