Hello from Michigan !

Last year, I got tired of my ancient K-Mart special gasser and decided to up my grilling game. So, I got a 22" Weber kettle. After using it for a few months, I realized I still needed a decent gasser for convenience, and ended up buying a Genesis E-330 just as Lowe's was clearing them out for the new China made model. After a while, I got so hooked on it that my charcoal kettle sees very little action (regrettably).

My "specialties" are steaks, chicken, and miscellaneous sausages / vegetables / burgers / occasional fish. I want to start getting into more challenging stuff. So, see you often !

Hey Gene, I have a gasser and a kettle and the gasser hasn't seen service in years. I find that with a little planning, I can have my kettle up and running quite quickly. For instance, I'll fill up my chimney with a charge of charcoal and cardboard strips for ignition ahead of time, wrap that in a plastic bag to keep out the humidity and the next time I grill it's all ready to go.
