Brisket longevity question

Local Costco had choice packers for $2.59/lb. this afternoon. I picked one up, it had a "shoot me" date of the 16th. My birthday is the 26th; kept cold (not frozen) do you think I will be alright for the extra ten days or should I just have a brisket feast early and find another treat for my natal anniversary? I'm easy, I have no problem in simply smoking as many dinners as possible!
 
Once again, Dustin, you are pulling me through a new stage of feasting!
I had kind of thought that would be the effect, simple rinse, trim, rub and, smoke! Happy birthday to me!!
 
It's still in the cryovqc bag right? If not, expect a little discoloration. But, like Dustin said, it'll still be good. If it is still in the cryovac, it might not even change color.
