My friend and fellow BBQ judge Paul Brown of madmeatgenius.com turned me on to Willowside Meats, just outside of Santa Rosa, CA, just a stone's throw from the high school I attended back in the day. Family owned and in business since 1969, Willowside Meats sells lots of in-house-made sausages, bacon and ground meats, but the real deal is the dry-aged steaks. I picked up a 1-1/2" custom cut, dry-aged bone-in rib steak, plus some kielbasa, bacon, and grass-fed ground beef. Can't wait to try them all!
Willowside also provides ranch slaughtering and frozen food locker rentals.
