Checking in from Seminole, Fl on the West Central coast of Florida. Have been grilling on a kettle for a long time and a few years ago picked up a 2nd gen Performer on the way down to the Keys...had to throw it in the boat to transport it.
Anyway, I've had a propane smoker a long time and when it recently fell apart I was on the lookout for a WSM. Was wanting a 22 and I guy on OfferUp said he had one for $80 and said it had a little dent and some rust. Was a little disappointed when I saw that it was an 18" but I couldn't pass it up in this good of a condition. No dent found and the rust was on the grates. Offered him $60 since it wasn't what he advertised but ended up getting it for $65.
I'm sure I'll learn a lot from this site and hope to contribute when I can.
