Just can't get my head around what these older Weber's sell for. Happy to see it, but don't understand it.

I guess I shouldn't be surprise I spent a small fortune on some things I collected over the years. The most shocking thing I ever saw was a 1971 Plymouth barracuda hemi convertible sell at auction in 2014 for $3,500,000.

...with final sales like Bob's baby blue for for $1,350 the one above for $2,475... it might be Weber-Stephen Products LLC buying them.

When I graduated college my dad gave me one like that (his old grill) and bought himself a red one-touch. I had it for about 5 years until a mover broke the legs off of it. The mover paid for my replacement grill, a red one-touch, which I still have and use. Little did I know that the old one would be worth a bundle today.
