Damper and fan setup

Hi all,

What is everyone doing for a fan/damper mount to a wsm. I seen all the plans to make a holder/mount. But I don't have access to a 3d printer.

I was leaning that way with the bbq guru attachment, but I am not sure how to go about getting the RD3.
