I think they're supposed to have a hot-dog-like texture
I put the recipe here as a joke but I'd try one if someone took the time to make them.

Thank God! Im curious about them. I'd try one, but I hate mushy carrots and this sounds like a recipe for exactly that. And it sounds like a lot of work, which I don't do for veggies.

Sprinkle them with some crushed "little blue pills" and there shouldn't be a problem. Although you might break a tooth.

I love carrots, mushy or not, but not sure if I could go for this. Maybe I could try a grilled carrot with just kraut? I guess it's no worse than grits and sardines.
