Quickie Dinner

Cliff Bartlett

My wife was gone for the evening. Wanted something fast as I got home late. Went freezer diving. Surfaced with a Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage. Dug a little deeper and found some Tots.

Hope you all are enjoying a great summer weekend. Today is the last day of our heatwave here. Supposed to top out at 113 today. Thanks for looking.

That's a pretty nice bachelor meal you pulled out of thin air, Cliff! Always good to keep some "emergency" grilling provisions in the deep freeze! :)

Nice dinner you made yourself! Looks like the bachelors on the forum are doing just fine by the looks of things.
Keeping things simple & tasty has it's advantages, I see.

Also my kind of diving, love that sauage on the grill, Cliff you need to try it with backed tomatoes, over rice and the sauage on the side great full of flavor.

Wife Jo was gone last night too, and I did similar with a shorter sausage link.
Bob, if you're identifying her by name just how many wives do you have?;)

Those Hillshire Farm (or the brand of your choice) sausages are great for a quick meal, whether on the grill or in the oven. When the kids were little we had many suppers of a sausage link laid on a bed of rice in the Corningware casserole.
