How do you clean discoloration on stainless steel hood?

How do you clean surface discoloration off stainless steel? https://imgur.com/gallery/Pya0Y

I tried a quick few wipes with 0000 steel wool, but it didnt seem to do much. Is there a different process for stainless steel vs the colored porcelain enameled weber hoods?

I would try stainless steel cleaner on it. Something like this.

I have had good results with oven cleaner or naval jelly

Barkeepers friend actually worked fairly well. It got rid of some of the lighter stains and lightened up some pf the darker ones.

If you wipe in the direction of the grain then it won't. If you go cross grain then you might notice some.

I like the idea of Bar Keeper's Friend too, but here is another option...

This product will not scratch the finish, and you may be able to apply it with a foam buffing pad mounted on an orbital polisher or a dual-action polisher / sander.
