Went to my sister-inlaw's house to watch the Space-X launch and she asked if I could cook some ribs. I said sure, long as the BBQ says Weber. Well the BBQ does say Weber

The Spirit did a fine job. Gave a long consistent cook, the Ribs were great (but not the wait)

It's a cute little place she has, I do like the Cape area. It's still on my list of possible retirement areas.

Great job Chuck. Its tough cooking that many racks and not be on your home field. But the true master comes through in the clutch!

Good looking cook, Chuck. Nice to see the Spirit handling the work not only with volume, but a consistent (and presumably low) temp. I've been thinking hard about getting rid of my Q and replacing it w/ a used Genny or Spirit.

Wow Chuck, that looks like mission impossible and you pulled it off. Nice work you and the spirt both did a fantastic job.

Great cook Chuck. Just goes to prove there's not much a man and his (or his sister's) Weber can't do.

Whodathunk you could cook all that on such a little grill? Ribs look spot on. Hope everyone was happy.

It's no secret I'm no fan of the Q. I tell you, the Spirit really impressed me. Granted, I did an indirect cook on it (indirect is one reason I hated the Q) but held a very consistent 250ish temp. I made a huge mess of the Spirit, and it cleaned up real nice. I washed the grates because they are enamel and I didn't want to hurt the enamel using wire brush. If I were to buy a Spirit, I would replace the grates and flavor bars with stainless steel, but not Weber SS, I would get after market
