Spirit E 310 conversion question

Hello all. I currently have a 2007 Spirit E 310, a Kamado Joe Classic and a Weber 22.5 Performer. I prefer the Performer over the 310 for grilling. I want to add something like a Blackstone griddle to the arsenal, but then it occurred to me, the 310 works perfect, will probably last another 15 years, so why buy a Blackstone? So I tried finding a griddle top to replace the grates and turn it into a flat top. Sadly I have been unsuccessful. Have any of you tried this or have been able to do this? I will appreciate any recommendations! Thanks. :blackperformer:

Well, I found my answers in the Texas BBQ Forum. FYI, seems there has been 0 success stories on that forum with folks attempting what I was trying to do. I thought I'd share with the good folks here.

Ok, I hate to give up on an idea, so I have a question for you good folks ... has anyone here tried the Little Griddle GQ 20 or the Sizzle Q? Just trying to learn from your experiences ... Thanks?
