Anyone here tried this? If so, how does it compare to KBB, Kingsford Professional, etc? It's made by Royal Oak. It's on sale now at HD for $4.97 for a 15.4 lb bag.
 
Haven't used Embers in 30 years, and it used to be some of the worst charcoal on the market, but it's worth trying again at that price.
 
Lowe's currently has the standard royal oak birquettes at 4 dollars per 15.4lb bag until the 5th of June I believe.. Just picked up a dozen yesterday. Not sure if it's better but I tried it last night and it fared well
