Prime Packer Brisket


 
It's like finding treasure. Ha! I was in a local Costco yesterday that had none. I asked one of the meat guys. He said sometimes they get them and sometimes they don't. When they do get them, they go real quick.
 
I'm jealous. I just paid $3.46/lb for Choice at the Walmart in King of Prussia PA.

Just finished an 8 hour cook, so am letting it cool down to 170F before wrapping it in foil. Also used Oren pink butcher paper. Good stuff!
 
I picked up a choice for 2.99 here, 14.5 pounds, 13 hours, pecan smoke, delicious! I will hit the prime slot one of these days. I have several feasts to do this summer.
Got lucky thought for next Sunday, my brother is firing his 22 with a brisket,chickens and "Steve made" Thai sausages! At least I hope he follows through with those, the last time he made them I wanted ten but, he only gave me two!
 
It is $2.99 in Albuquerque at Costco. It was $1.89 when they fist started selling it but has been going up every time I have visited.
