These were just what the doctor ordered - very tasty. I got the chicken perfectly cooked using my brand new "Super-Fast" Thermapen.

Hope everyone had a good weekend

Looking good, Chuck! If these Thermapens get any faster, they'll tell you the temp BEFORE you even get close to your food! :)

I'd love a plate of those Chuck. Nice job on your chicken coop. My daughter lives down in the Bay Area and they can have six chickens in theirs. We're thinking about getting some up here. I like the Rhode Island Reds.

I think your chickens are getting nervous. :D
With good reason as they're right next to all the BBQ's :)

I got that coop from Costco, pretty reasonable too. It's rated for six, but it's pretty busy with four. I added a run off to the side for them, that seems to keep them pretty happy (plus I let them out alot) The Road Island Reds are the best. Mine are "sex linked" from Road Island Reds. They're a little smaller and their number one fault is they're have no fear (aka they're friendly) meaning they end up make a meal for a predator if preadators are around.

Kabobs looking good, as I see your plate doesn't have much on it, you must of been sampling to make sure everything was up to par;)

Great looking meal Chuck. Love the healthy chicken. By the way Kim says you had better leave those chickens alone...
