Just FYI. I got an email for a free sample bag of the Weber (US) briquettes. So check your email. You probably needed to be registered with Weber. All I had to do is click the link and hit submit. It already had my info filled out. Super easy!

Guess I'm sticking with Kingsford and Royal Oak !!!
 
No email for me either. I have 3 cookers registered - 2 of 'em are charcoal powered. A few more weeks to wait for the el cheapo Kingsford...
 
Welp... I'm waiting for my sample to arrive. Haven't got any messages to the contrary from Weber.
 
Weber is a crock if your revised then they have all the info needed to send you.Seems like a gimmick to me ill stay w/ Kings/ compeition
 
I don't think of it as a gimmick, they simply didn't realize what the demand might be, they didn't call me about it, I guess I don't mind.
Just think of it as the heroin of grilling. Really expensive, limited availability.
I keep smoking Kingsford, the gateway charcoal.
With respect to the rest of the grilling addicts out there like me.
 
I think of Weber charcoal more as the designer jeans of the grilling world.
Good quality, expensive, trendy as hell, and questionable value compared to other options.
