Just to grill some chicken breasts

Compared to Kingsford it's a thicker briquette seemed to take a little longer to get going in the chimney on my performer. But it doesn't appear to ash as much so maybe they're more efficient so I'll get more cooks out of them??

Anyone with more express care to chime in or maybe I missed the thread. My friend got me a complimentary bag from the Ace show last month to try out.

If only they weren't so spendy

I use whatever is on sale. I usually have 3 stacks of briquettes from 3 different manufacturers in the garage.

Since I have a DigiQ DX2 I can use lump without them running too hot.

Chris;
Thanks for posting this.

Net result of it for me, is that I will continue to buy (on sale) Kingsford Original. I get excellent results with this and appreciate the low cost at the seaonal sales.

Keep on smoking,
