Jeff in the PNW

Hey Gents,

I just picked up my 18.5 WSM today. Of course other projects around the house kept me from putting it together, but I'm hoping to crank it up this week. I was going to just do a dry run just to play with the temps. My family likes pulled pork and ribs. I think we have a pack of pork spare ribs in the freezer. Time to get them out. Glad to be here and look forward to learning all I can. I think my wife doubts me, but I'm hoping to start cooking some things to help out so she doesn't have to cook all the time.

Welcome to the forum Jeff. Once you have some practice under your belt, the wife will want you to cook all the time. You will get a lot of great advice here and everyone is very friendly. Don't be afraid to ask questions as that is how we all learn. Enjoy.
