Condensation build up in the 22" WSM

I have a 22" WSM which lives outside all the time. When not in use it is covered up with the WSM cover. I leave the bottom and top vents open to allow air passage through it. If I leave it for a month it can easily collect a gallon of water inside. I can only assume it is condensation. I was thinking that when dry, I would drill a small hole in the lowest position of the base stand. It would need to be plugged for cooking to prevent air entry. I think it should be fairly easy to create a more elegant mod than just a hole and a bung.

Any Suggestions?

Cheers :)

Yes, you can be almost assured that the water is seeping in through the not so waterproof cover and running inside. I'd flip the middle or use a plastic bag before drilling a hole. Fix the problem at the source instead of trying to mitigate it.
