Help Mounting My UnknownBBQ Kettle Hinge

I got my UnknownBBQ hinge for my 22.5" kettle. Excellent piece of hardware!! The thing is I am not sure where to mount it in relation to the lid. Does anyone on here have a hinge on one of the newest 22.5" kettles and if so a pic of how you mounted it? Thanks!!

I mounted mine originally at 12:00 (facing the kettle) next time, I think I would mount it at either 3:00 or 9:00. This is on an 18 btw.
I have the ability to rotate the whole thing inside my custom carriage so, the hinge now sits at the desired 3:00 position. If I put one on my 22, I will mount it at 9:00 which will allow the swing on each kettle on the "outboard" side.
Mounting it on the back made sense at first but, then you have to reach more "around" the hot kettle with it on the side it's a little more convenient, at least I think it is.
