Canjun Bandit Door and Nomex Gasket Causing Bad Fit and Air Leak

I have a very old (> 20 years) 18.5" WSM and recently installed a BBQ Gasket nomex kit. I have a Cajun Bandit after market door, and glued the gaskets on the three inside sides of the door to rest on the exterior of the WSM and for the fourth side, I glued the gasket on the outside surface of the bottom door tab that fits inside the interior of the WSM.

When I latch down the door to the WSM, the two top corners that are opposite the latch, splay out leaving a visible gap between the exterior of the WSM and the gasket installed on the door. I can see light coming through on both top door corners

Any ideas how I can get back to a snug fitting door with no gaps / air leaks.

Have you tried reforming the door on that part of it? Had to do that on mine and all is good.

How do I reform the door? Should I put on end in a vise and pull on the other end?
