Looking for a good Apple BBQ Sauce for our pp this next week. Anyone have a good recipe or know of a premade sauce that is good? Not looking for anything with to much "bite" to it, just a good tasting, possibly mild "bite" sauce.

If store bought, available in Mid-Mi.

TY!!!

You should be able to get this, I can get it up in wine country here. Two words: It's amazing!

Chris, you might enjoy Mike Mills' Apple City BBQ Sauce, although it might not be quite as appley as you'd like, but it would be a start. I think this one has won some awards.

For more of an apple flavor, perhaps add some apple juice that has been reduced to a syrup. I would use a high-quality apple juice for this, Martinelli's comes to mind. I keep several small bottles (about 6-8 oz each - Costco) on hand so that I don't have to open a big bottle.

TY for the suggestions!!!

Looked for the Lynchburg, can't find it without ordering online so far. Have one more place to try.

Passed the Mill's recipe along to the "sous chef". :)

You could doctor up a homemade or bottled sauce with some apple butter or marmalade.
FAJC would work in a thin sauce, unless you reduce it.
Royal Crown Apple sounds really good right now in your sauce:)
