Auber HeaterMeter, no eithernet (wired or wireless)

I got the Auber pre-assembled HM today, and can't get networking running. No link light, traffic light on Eth0 port with known good switch and cable.

I poked around in the console (not skilled in OpenWRT, but have some old UNIX memories, so I can manage), can't see any reason it wouldn't be working. Network config set for DHCP, but it never happens. Boots up to "No Pit Probe", which is an accurate statement. When I attach a Maverick probe, it sees it.

My knee-jerk reaction is to write a new image to the SD card, but I thought I'd ask here first, in case someone has seen this. This is my FIRST HM, so I don't have a level of what "normal" is yet.

Filesystem dates are all 3/2016, iirc. OpenWRT is Attitude Adjuster.

Got it sorted out, enough at least. Got wireless working, then figured out what was wrong with wired. Still can't USE the wired side, but the WiFi was what a really needed, so ....
