225° for 4 hours and 250° for 30 minutes

I'd say that this is dialed in.... Primo XL with maple leaf charcoal. I was cooking baby back ribs and this was the graph of the cook with the HeaterMeter and MicroDamper. #blownaway

I had the HM set so that below 25% I'm damper only, so this show the strength of the Primo as well as the HeaterMeter but the HeaterMeter is there to deal with anything that happens through the cook.

So you had the MicroDamper set to run fan only above 25%, and the servo to run the full range of motion? Also, could you post up your PID values for others to use in the future?

Ya, I should have been more specific. Fan "on above" was 25% so much of the steady state was damper only.

P = 4, I = 0.003, D = 4.

One last question. Was your min fan at 0% or 25%?

I'm going to take a guess and say it was 0%. Because when the fan did kick on you had a little bit of a spike - though pretty small.

Great looking cook!
