Fully Loaded Shamrock Shake

Clint had posted in the Appetizer section a link to fried pickles. Whilst wandering that site, I came across this more-than-a-kopykat recipe for Mickey D's Shamrock Shake. This being the day before St Paddy's Day AND being an adult, I thought this would be a wonderful drink. And I wasn't wrong.

The Shamrock Shake Fully Loaded

4 large scoops of Vanilla Frozen Yogurt (I used quality ice cream--don't care calories in this about once a year (maybe) treat)
1 cup Skim Milk (used 2%)
Green Gel Food Colouring (till it looks right)
2 ounces of Peppermint Schnapps
2 ounces of Jamesons Irish Whisky

Put in all in a blender and mix till it's ready.

This needs NO whipped cream.
I've edited it a bit to provide more info.

I do too :) I've not tried it but I've picked up a couple bottles of peppermint schnapps after someone bought me a drink @ lunch while skiing a few years ago called a Peppermint Patty - Hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps. It was good, I think I even posted the recipe here. I had an extra-thirsty friend over who drank it after everything else ran out........I'll have to grab another.
